THEN: Fifteen years ago, I wrote a blog post called “Fear through the Ages” that began like this: I was mostly a fearless kid. In fact, I can remember only two times I felt fearful—one dealing with deep water (still a fear to this day) and another when some kids threatened to kick my butt after school (I talked my way out of it). In all other matters I was a risk taker, not afraid to fail, pretty darn confident that it was going to turn out all right. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t Evil Knievel—I was wired more for cerebral than for physical pursuits—though there was that day with the motorcycles, jumping ditches at “the lots.”
Margaret, I hereby confer unto you an MFA degree: Master of Fear Alleviation. (You also deserve a Master of Fine Arts.) While bungee jumping off your roof, don't forget you have a lifeline in Holy Spirit. All you need do is ask.
Margaret, thanks for the post. Glad you are settled. Did you notice that HS gave you a green light for the "new beginning" in your new digs (see the pic) ... All the best, my friend...

What a wonderful and honest account about fear in your life. Haven't we all got our ways to cover it up and pretend it is not there? And also how it gets stuck in your body as pain or sickness. It is such a relief to have a path (like ACIM) to realize how big the fear factor in our lives is and to honestly work with it and let it go. I am so happy you got through that journey of your move with Sweety. A physical journey with a lot of stress. It is such a long stretch to do those things without fear.(I was relieved myself when I heard you made it, talking about fear haha) But this move made you realize even more about how fear works, at least that is what I take from your story. Enjoy your new place, the peace and the great view, it is so beautiful. LOVE YOU 🥰
Thank you, Val! In the spirit of "two things can be true at the same time," I'm sorry that you were worried about me during the move and I am so touched by the support you extended across the miles. Love you, too! ❤️
Thank you for your love and support these past few weeks. I couldn't have done it without you, bro. And now I wait with anticipation for you to get settled. I know there are great things coming. Love you. ❤️
Impressive healing! I love Dr. Sarno. There was a great video explaining his work on YouTube, but it was taken down. Too bad, because it was more accessible than his book.
I wish I had known about that. My experience with his book was miraculous. And not just from the point of view of alleviation of physical pain. It changed my entire way of thinking. 🤯

Amen. I ask a lot. ❤️

Craig, I did notice! I'm not surprised that you did, too. Thank you, my friend. ❤️

Can I just say, developing a nice healthy addiction could be an obvious tell tale on the Ego?
Also, no truer words have been spoken.
"there are no fears like the ones you have for a child."
Heck, i can talk about this whole piece. I loved it! You are an incredible woman, Sis!
Indeed it is.
